Hit The City neemt Eindhoven drie dagen lang over met meer dan 100 artiesten verspreid over verschillende locaties in de stad. En uiteraard mag The Jack niet ontbreken. Lintworm arrive like a glitter-covered wrecking ball. Dealing in cheerful violence and colourful darkness, this Belgian quartet twists grindcore, powerviolence, noise and other invasive sounds into a frantic, all-consuming assault. Deliberately excessive and proudly allergic to subtlety. Behind the sonic abuse stand Belgium’s nicest boys, armed with hearts full of peace and love and a curious fascination for the absurd and uncomfortable. Lintworm thrive on contrast: cute and grotesque, playful and hostile, ridiculous yet genuinely intense. Their sound doesn’t creep in politely. It infects, overwhelms, and leaves everything louder, uglier, and strangely more alive. Extreme heavy music at its most unhinged, invasive and weirdly attractive.

𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇

Crouch is a three piece band consisting of Wim Coppers (Wiegedood, Oathbreaker, Rise And Fall, Living Gate etc) on drums, Jasper Hollevoet (Ventilateur) on bass and Levy Seynaeve (Wiegedood, Oathbreaker, ex-Amenra, Living Gate) on guitars and vocals. On the new album they have shifted drastically towards the more progressive side of late 90’s, early 2000’s, heavy music rooted in punk hardcore. A general slow and weighty feel on one side, and on the other its unexpected hooks and angles, the record has been described as the brain child of Kickback and Captain Beefheart, raised by uncle Botch.

Bloed is the brainchild of siblings. Though they only began writing together in 2022, their chemistry was instant, quickly forging a distinct sound and identity. Their rapid ascent earned them a spot and ultimately victory in the 2023 edition of Sound Track, the prestigious music competition organized by vi.be. Pushing the boundaries of their sound, Bloed is a force that demands to be experienced live. Energetic, loud, and unapologetically bold, their music is a unifying pulse.

Rising from the gritty underbelly of Amsterdam, Gallamesh is a relentless metalcore force forged in sweat, volume, and raw emotion. Drawing inspiration from hardcore punk and modern death metal, the band fuses crushing groove with razor-sharp intensity. Think the bone-shattering riffs of Chimaira, the commanding vocal power of Lamb of God, and the earth-splitting chugs of Kublai Khan TX. Gallamesh delivers high-energy performances that hit like a freight train: massive breakdowns, pounding rhythms, and a stage presence that leaves nothing standing. Their sound balances brute-force metalcore with introspective, hard-hitting lyrics.
